This is the first song I have written in a while. I wasn't completely satisfied but there were several parts I was happy with. I hope you enjoy!
No longer are these words,
Enough to mend,
What our actions,
Have torn apart.
So young,
Such a shame,
Self-conscience,
Is where we lay the blame.
"You are not alone"
They said,
How ironic,
For it was those word he dread.
Waking up to the morning sun,
And where his life was officially done.
Pain that started,
In the very heart,
That gave his body life,
Began to tear him apart.
Many tried to play hero,
Yet no one,
Not even you,
Could save his long forgotten soul.
So let this be a lesson,
To all of you,
Do not take for granted,
This life we so often do.
